It all began with a book project, Earth's Elders: The Wisdom of the World's Oldest People. An Emmy Award- winning NBC two-part series on aging took Jerry S. Friedman traveling around the world for four years, meeting and photographing the oldest people on the planet. All of whom possessed remarkable insight and wisdom.
This lead Jerry to author a series of 12 children's books entitled Maurice's Valises, which follows heroic adventurer Maurice as he searches for the lost treasures of the world. All driven by curiosity and the discovery of empathy along the way.
